GST Notes : Service
Any decision, order, summons, notice or any other communication shall be served by any one of the following methods:
1.Giving it directly or Sending it through a messenger including a courier to the addressee, the taxable person, or to his manager, or to his authorised representative or his advocate or his tax practitioner holding authority to appear on his behalf or to a person regularly employed by him in his business or to any adult member of his family residing with the taxable person.
2.Sending it by registered post, speed post or courier
3.Sending it by email
4.Making it available on common portal
5.Publication in newspaper
6.Or fixing it at a conspicuous place.
